Belgian M31 Adrian Helmet Chasseurs Ardennais
An original Belgian M31 Adrian helmet "dans son jus", found as is and not yet cleaned! Inside the helmet, there are two service numbers "110 88441". This number corresponds to the 1re Chasseurs Ardennais regiment, marked once in black ink and again painted over in white.
The helmet retains its original paint, with a second, more matte brushstroke layer applied over it, which is quite common with Belgian M31 helmets. The comb has been flattened, another typical occurrence with these helmets, but the lion emblem is still firmly in place.
There is general surface rust and wear, and most of the internal components are missing. However, it remains a solid example of a Belgian M31 helmet from the 1er Chasseurs Ardennais, something you don’t see very often.
