Original booklet titled Comment on reconnaît les Forces Armées des États-Unis (English: “How to Identify United States Forces”). It was published by the United States Office of War Information around 1944–45, and was intended to be distributed among the French population to help them recognize American forces, their uniforms, medals and various insignia.
The booklet is complete, but shows some staining on the exterior, and the staples have rusted.
