Original Belgian ARS gas mask container used by the Gezondheidsdienst or later reissued by the Red Cross. A red cross is painted on the side and lid of the tin. Inside the lid, the initials JB were painted, along with Jean Balhan N° 130/3/33 and his address: Rue des Prairies 65, Bressoux, Liège.
The container is no longer in the best condition. Some paint is missing, there is surface rust in several places, and the lid has broken off from the container. Nonetheless, it remains an interesting piece of history.
