Original Belgian ABBL bonnet de police of the Transportkorps / Corps de Transports, made according to the 1939 regulations. The bonnet features a beautiful insignia with painted details. Inside there is a very faint service number beginning with “2” though the remaining digits are unfortunately unreadable.
The bonnet is complete but shows signs of wear and age. There are a few small moth holes on both sides, some minor staining, and general wear from use. The floche, which was originally a lighter shade of blue, has faded over time.
Overall it remains a nice, solid piece with a unique insignia.
