€115.00

Original British Pattern 1907 bayonet, produced in 1914. The blade bears various markings, including the 1914 production date as well as several later re-inspection marks from the 1930s. The pommel is stamped 4 GHOW, indicating use by the 4th Battalion Green Howards, a Territorial unit that saw action in both World War I and World War II. The back of the scabbard is also marked, although this marking is sadly very faint.

The bayonet and scabbard are complete, with all parts present and functioning, and remain in dans son jus condition. The blade is still sharp but could benefit from a light application of some oil.

Overall, a good, solid piece of British military history.
