Original map from early 1920 showing the works and institutions that had been established or were in the process of being established, as well as the organization of sanitary and economic aid in the devastated Belgian zone by the American Red Cross.

The map is marked by the producer Litho. G. Geûens Willaert, Bruges and is also stamped with an American Red Cross stamp. In the top left corner, there is a handwritten dedication reading:
“Le Docteur De Schrevel avec les compliments de la Croix Rouge Américaine – John Eppstein 24.3.20". The name Mary Eppstein is also written on the bottom right corner.

The map measures 65 × 50 cm and shows wear and tear consistent with age and use.

A beautiful decorative piece with interesting historical value of the post-war reconstruction of Belgium and the involvement of the American Red Cross.
