Belgian Made 1945 GS Cap

Original Belgian-made GS cap by Declercq-Olivier, Ardoye (Ardooie), better known as City Sport, produced in 1945 in size 6 7/8 for the British Army. The inside of the cap is clearly marked, dated and also bears a Broad Arrow. It appears that no insignia was ever fitted and the cap remains in worn but good condition. One of the vent holes is missing, and there is various minor damage as well as some moth holes. Overall, a good piece by a not-so-common maker with an interesting history.
