Belgian Identification Numbers 2de Lansiers

An original pair of Belgian 1930s service numbers stamped on white cotton, intended to be sewn into clothing, equipment, and other military items. The service numbers start with “140,” indicating they belonged to a soldier from the 2de Regiment Lansiers / 2ème Régiment de Lanciers. The numbers appear to have never been used, although they do show some wear consistent with age. An interesting and rather uncommon item!
