Original Belgian M1929 gas mask, manufactured by Pirelli in 1931. The inside of the closing flap bears several handwritten inscriptions, including a name, a regiment designation, and a service number. The flap is marked "4 RTA" and also bears a service number that appears to begin with "185", indicating the Bataljon Radiotelegrafisten. Overall, the gas mask is complete and shows general wear consistent with its age and use. The rubber has started to crack, but there is no major damage.
