Belgian BLB-LPA Bourgmestre Armband

Original Belgian tricolour armband from the BLB-LPA. The armband features an added purple border and shows traces of a triangular patch that has been removed, a modification commonly seen on armbands used by the BLB-LPA. In addition to the word "Bourgmestre" it also bears a municipal stamp, although it is unfortunately too faint to be read.
The exact purpose of this armband is unknown but it was most likely intended for use by the mayor of a municipality in connection with the BLB-LPA.
