Belgian Fusiliers 6th Infantry Brigade Formation Badge

Original Belgian Fusiliers formation badge of the 6th Infantry Brigade “Deinze”, dating from the 1944–1945 period.
Normally, the Formation Badge of the 1st Canadian Army at the bottom features a blue stripe in the centre. For some reason, possibly due to a production error, the stripe on this example is white. The blue does not appear to have faded or been removed, there seem to be no visible traces of blue thread.
Overall, the patch is in good condition, with some general wear and tear consistent with age and use. The stitching on one side has also come loose slightly.
