An original copper sign dating from the first half of the 20th century, mounted on a wooden backing and belonging to the Belgian military tailor C. Kerkhofs. The lettering features a faux-marble inlay, and the bottom of the sign is marked “D. ABSIL NAMUR”.
The sign is in overall good condition, with some missing inlay, minor corrosion and a few areas of damage to the wooden backing.
An honest and interesting historical piece.
