Original Belgian bonnet de police belonging to an NCO of the 10de Regiment Artillerie. The bonnet is complete with a silver tassel and its originally mounted insignia. The silver tassel may not be an original addition, as the insignia appears to be copper or gold-coloured, which would not be in accordance with the regulations.
The bonnet shows some moth damage and fraying, but overall remains a good piece with plenty of character.
